7-year Pilot Program
Maryland is currently under a Community Solar Pilot Program through 2024, which is providing access to solar for all Marylanders without requiring property ownership.
The community solar program has the potential to reduce the energy burden on low-to moderate-income (LMI) Maryland households while generating solar power on developed land, such as rooftops and parking canopies.
Let's make sure ALL Marylanders benefit from solar energy. Contact your local officials and urge them to make the Community Solar program permanent in Maryland.
